I'm glad you had a good birthday, Hitouji-san. I've never heard of being throw into the ocean as a birthday tradition. Maybe it's new or something from Kyushu. I suppose if they did it to you, you can do it to whomever has the next birthday. If you didn't like, then I suggest you get some kind of payback as your friends were very rude.

Payback would be to do it when it's exceptionally cold, but I'm sure you could come up with alternative methods of payback that don't involve throwing someone into the ocean. In fact, the best kind of payback is the kind designed specifically for the person in which you would like to exact payback upon. It shows that you took the time to think about what would really get them. Good luck, Hitouji-san.
